IB Helping Hands students from Lamar feeder pattern schools (Lamar, Lanier MS, Mark Twain ES, River Oaks ES, Roberts ES) have joined forces to help aid the victims of Hurricane Ike. The group has launched their own website (www.ibhelpinghands.org) to help inform others about their mission "to provide relief and support in order to create change in the lives of Gulf Coast victims of Hurricane Ike, by raising international awareness of a community ravaged by natural disaster".
